My interest in painting, sewing, writing, and art began when I was still a young girl.
As a ten-year-old, I would spend hours in my room embroidering covers for my cushions and sewing clothes with my mother.
At the age of 25 I began to focus on oil painting. I enrolled on an oil painting course, which allowed me to express my feelings and ideas on a canvas.
Although I continued to regularly paint, I have also maintained my passion for sewing. I decided to register to the Mallow College of Design and Tailoring course in Ireland, where I meticulously attended sewing and fashion design classes. After three years of studies, I will graduate with a diploma from the English City of Guilds.
I have worked in collaboration with the Pixalili workshop. Pixalily is a small family printing business in county Donegal, Ireland. I send them my designs which they transfer onto fabric (100% cotton, linen, or bamboo), using organic, eco-friendly pigments.
I am mainly driven by the concepts of up cycling and recycling. I like creating new products using old clothes and scraps that I already own or find in thrift shops. This is the focus of my workshops: reusing and giving a new life to materials!
Reducing waste and impact on our beautiful planet is a way of living more than anything else. I am used to producing my own cosmetics and cleaning products. I discovered the joy and the health benefits of removing harmful chemicals from daily life. It is never too late to start! Book your workshop now and change your consumptions habits! I listen to your wants, needs, and ideas. Do not hesitate to contact me and tell me about your projects. I can help you achieve it.
